Taoki
Taoki is the program that we use to help children develop phonetic and phonological awareness (being able to recognize specific sounds and what can make those sounds). Each week, we introduce a new sound. If you'd like to follow along, I've listed each letter below in the order they are taught. The recordings go along with the book that we read out of each week.

Les Alphas
One day while Olibrius, a first grade boy, is crying in his room a glowing blue genie appears in his room. Cosmopolux, the genie, asks Olibrius to come help him save "les alphas" from the evil witch Furiosa and her planet of evil "betas". Can you help Olibrius save les alphas with the power of reading?

Students will be given a login home code that will (or already have) come home in their yellow folder.
Lalilo is a fun website that we use in class to work on reading and comprehension. As the students move up in their reading, they will have a chance to earn certificates, badges, and "treasures". There is no requirement for usage, but 15-30 minutes a week is recommended.
